buttttt i’m gonna use my pay to go SHOPPING!! *very defensive mode* i really need more necklaces, skirts, pants and tops and maybe hairbands because i hate my fringe now!

the past few days this week have been quite longgg, long hours at work and problems that kept me up at night, kept me distracted at work; basically just keeping my life away from happiness. today was the best day i’ve had this week!

i have gotten my laptop finally, but it’s so heavy i’ll just lock it in school. it’s an antique laptop la basically, NEC versa something but oh well, it’s better than nothing. at least i can go online when i’m bored.

everything back at work is working out pretty well and senior colleagues are very nice people too. we have a pantry that stores florida’s natural fruits nuggets, snickers, mars, toblerone and many other sweets for the very hardworking teachers =P

today the school celebrated national day so it was a no lesson day. everyone was to wear red to school, teachers, students and principal. honestly speaking, their patriotism is impressive. the school national education department and students set up a gallery walk, which was very nicely done. to put up something that requires so much effort for less than 2000 schoolmates (not even outsiders) isn’t the most reasonable thing to do, the efforts just weren’t justified. they borrowed costumes from mediacorp, they had a grey merlion … i was very impressed, purely because i do not celebrate national day, back home it’s just another public holiday for me. i didn’t know how to appreciate the patriotism but soaking myself in the culture and just enjoying myself wasn’t difficult because what’s so painful to just sing along and do some silly swaying moves with a bunch of colleagues right? we they sang more than 7 national day songs, teachers and students doing kallang wave, caterpillar, basically just getting high.

this is something a corporate job will never be able to offer me with. but on the other hand, luckily i’m not a true anak malaysia, or else i’ll be so annoyed with their patriotism lol

after that, mdm loh (which is like my favoritest senior colleague) brought us out for lunch at singapore’s FIRST oldtown white coffee. everything felt so familiar, the menu was the same, the only difference was the size of the glasses were slightly smaller =.= *nothing new, inflation mar*

we will be having a teachers’ day dinner at the end of this month and the theme is …… GLAM FEST!! lol and now i just can’t wait for payday, and make sure i look glam =D

something sad =( my brown heels broke! on the very first day of me wearing it … i’m bringing it to the cobbler to have it fixed!!

sometimes i feel like the only thing i can do is to keep being hopeful, i wonder why all my closests are so far away but the only hopeful assurance i can tell myself is they are only phone calls away.

and one very hopeful thing lately is …. new friends.

i have finally gotten my workstation, shuning and i are officially table mates!

it’s so much more conducive with a workstation although there’s no internet for us (yes the only place we can use the internet is … common workstation wtf) and yes yes there’s a lot more work flooding in and i can’t say i don’t like! i even wanted to stay back in office today although my classes have all ended like what? 2 hours already? *mwahaha pats self*

i’m gonna start doing marking, it’s so exciting! and today i was the invigilator for the very first freaking time haha all these while i’ve been the one being invigilated! it’s damn shiok to invigilate others ok, no wonder all the invigilators have this stupid gungho face all the time. you just go around looking at what they’re writing, see if they bring in other materials to cheat woo hoo! then your heels tick tock tick tock lidat haha

i’m definitely enjoying the culture in my college, and the teachers are mostly not sloppy too so that’s great!! although i have to admit that i do not enjoy dressing up as much as the first week *sobs why am i like that, so fail*

but i am damn anal because i made my own calendar thingy, written in colors like pink, green and red. and i printed nice nice illustrations to make it pretty; then printed lotsa happy photos to stick on it also to make it MINE …. i am so girly bimbo sometimes i love myself haha

however, the one who preaches most about what could be done to avoid many foreseen problems which did not and have not appeared and the one who sounded very concern about how others will cause problems is the one and only who is being irresponsible and ignorant and insensitive …. how ironic.

i’d really like to talk about work but certain things are sort of not confirmed not properly arranged yet so i do not know where to start

i actually took photos for the past 3 mornings before i left work, just to keep track of what i wore … because nowadays one of the things that i look forward to is, put together something nice to wear. and i can’t wait till i can buy more tops n skirts to play around with …. it’s gonna be a hobby i tell u. and also because, i wanna show the kowboi - just to keep him updated, tho most of the time he’s not interested wtf

ok anyway, i bought a pair of shoes today from topshop. i needed a pair of not cover up flats that isn’t flip flops, went to zara, prettyfit, charles & keith etc (all of which are still having crazy sales LOR wtf isn’t GSS suppose to be over already) ok back to topshop, i got a lucky card which is supposedly loaded with some cash value in it (SGD0.01 onwards i guess) ~.~ i shall go find out how much i have in my lucky card.
